COSIHAVENapos;THehe, anyway yeah I was away on holiday for a week and didnapos;t get to post cos of packing times ect. We went to Fuerteventura *woooo right first time* Which was really kwl. We went with some of my mumapos;s freinds for a week itapos;s kinda hard to say what we did in the blog but we basically did the same thing like everyday and I managed to get though like 5 books.

When I got back I was told by my gran that my epic new headset had arrived so I picked it up the next day and now Iapos;m using them. They are Razor Barracudaapos;s I think and the are sorround sound with a nice mic. So I went running to the PCto try them cos Shadow wanted to play Gmod and my pc is much better cos its not going though a router ect ect. They worked amazingly on the PC the sorrund sound worked fine, the mic was better acording to Shadow only problem was that it was a bit annoying to plug in cos I need to crawl round the back of the PC to get straight into the back of the sound card but itapos;s worth it for the epicness of these.
So Iapos;m all happy about them till I got to plug them into the laptop, Iapos;m like "erm there are only 2 holes here and I have 4 plugs" so it tried and I got it sterio, I supose it was lucky that Iapos;ve even got that cos there is a front plug and a back plug for the sorround sound and itapos;s only cos I have 2 that I CANget it to sound good. But I can live with this itapos;s really good quality and these are solid headset but the mic doesnapos;t work on the laptop for the annoyingness reason so now if I canapos;t fix that I think Iapos;ll have to send them back. I really really like them but they are almost usless without the mic as i talk to loads of people and the mic is like the good bit.

Well Iapos;ll see what I can do and for now Iapos;ll go play some oblivion.
Surge, signing off.

We had a really nice day today. After Mass, we went to brunch at Cracker Barrel (I was craving pecan pancakes), and on the way home I was kind of half-whining to Michael about having to do a grocery shopping and laundry. He said "You know what? Screw that for today. Letapos;s just have fun." I asked him what he meant, and he said we should go look at the Fall foliage. That itapos;s not going to be pretty for too long, and it was such a beautiful day, that we should enjoy it.

We went to the ocean first. We walked on the beach and the kids ran around and collected shells. I couldnapos;t believe how chilly it was I was glad Iapos;d brought everyoneapos;s jackets. And the surf was really rough today, which made it absolutely beautiful. Michael said he thought that was from some storms off the Carolina coasts. Some of the waves had to have been more than 10 feet tall It was just gorgeous, and Iso much love my ocean I donapos;t think I could ever live anywhere where I was land-locked.

Then we drove inland, all the way to the Delaware River, and drove south. It was a really pretty drive---wooded, with the trees just glistening their Fall colors in the sun, and the river to our right. We crossed over into Pennsylvania at Lambertville, where the little narrow bridge has no toll. That put us in New Hope, which is very picturesque, but a bit yuppified. It was also very crowded. Everyone was out enjoying the sunshine, and shopping. The kids wanted to ride the train, but we didnapos;t have time to do that. We did walk around and window shop, and I actually went in to one place and bought a beautiful blown glass vase which Ithink I may put in the niche in the upstairs hall for a while. I just love it.

Michael then drove in to Pennsylvania a bit, because it is just so wooded, and the trees were so beautiful. New Jersey, with its sandy soil, has more evergreens (which I actually LOVE), whereas Pennsylvania has so many oaks and maples---all turning colors. They were gorgeous today

We were going to drive farther inland and pop in on Joanne and Mark, but when Michael called them, no one answered, so we turned around and headed back to Jersey.

It was an all-day trip, and we took our time, just driving anywhere and everywhere, and enjoying the countryside and the foliage. The kids were a bit antsy in the car at times, so finally Michael set them up with a game: He said weapos;d take a political poll. That Matthew was in charge of counting all the Obama bumper stickers and yard signs, and that Jenna could help him. And that Justin was in charge of counting all the McCain ones, and Tessa could help him. And weapos;d total them up at dinner. It kept them occupied, since the political signs are just everywhere punctuating the landscape right now (Unfortunately. Theyapos;re so ugly I would never put one in my yard). . . Needless to say, Obama won by a huge margin, but we were---after all---in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, which is about as blue as you can get.

We stopped for dinner at Brick Oven pizza. I had had such a huge brunch that I still wasnapos;t even that hungry, but the kids and Michael were.

We didnapos;t get home here until 8 PM, which is really too late on a school night. And Michael had to leave for work at 9 The kids showered really fast and went to bed. They were so tired, that they didnapos;t put up much resistance.

It was a really nice day, just hanging out as our little nuclear family, and enjoying the beautiful Fall colors and the sunshine, and talking, laughing and having fun together. Michael and I held hands in the car almost the whole time, and actually were able to have a decent conversation after the kids became so preoccupied counting political signs (That was a great idea to keep them busy). And I loved walking around New Hope. It really is a cute little town, right on the river. I wish Iapos;d had more time to shop

Ifeel peaceful and happy starting the week this time :)

Have you ever found out something about someone you really wish you hadnapos;t?

I did just that yesterday. I canapos;t stop thinking about it now.
I would like to make it perfectly clear that I can keep secrets, I can mind my own business, I can respect peopleapos;s privacy. But I would also like to point out that just because I can do all those things doesnapos;t mean I want to. Just because you ask a prostitute to suck your dick doesnapos;t mean she wants to.

What is it about people, that you only want them to be what you want them to be?

I applied to a glass work exhibit in new york, and I am waiting for the big fat rejection letter. I looked at the showapos;s website and immediately felt embarrassed by what I had submitted. Boo. I guess itapos;s better to try than not.

I wish school would stop being such a bully and leave me alone. Itapos;s like, knocking the books out my hands in the hallway and putting gum in my hair when Iapos;m not looking. Jerk.

At least I have you, LJ Youapos;re the best friend Iapos;ve ever had Letapos;s have a sleepover

Oct 21st is a holiday for it is the day that Fable 2 comes out and in an overflowing of nerdiness I took a vacation day for its release.
Oh, and Iapos;m sure this is grounds for being hated but if it werenapos;t for John McCainapos;s views on Iraq and war in general I think I might be likely to vote for him. Oh, and the way that heapos;s pandered to the Bush crowd since losing heapos;s nomination in apos;00.

cai lun paper

Yesterday, I went to Steak and Shake, and I know one of the managers. She saw that my iPhone was cracked, so she asked if I would help her play a joke on another one of the managers. He is so paranoid about breaking the screen. I told her I would make something up about how it broke. This is how it went.
"How did you do that to your phone."
"Oh my gosh I had it in my pocket and somebody bumped into me. I was sooooo mad. I donapos;t know how that made it crack, but it did. I was really mad because I heard it right when they bumped into me. I was just really mad."
It was soooooo funny He always keeps his phone is his pocket, so as I was telling that fake story, he pulled his phone out of his pocket to make sure it was okay. I was surprised that I kept a straight face.
He left and they other manager came back over. She said he totally believed it and was freaking out.
I told her to tell him to make sure that if he is going to keep it in his pocket, then he needs to ALWAYS make sure to keep the screen facing in

The truth on how I broke my iPhone:
My best friendapos;s boyfriend is obsessed with cars, and this Viper drove be. He stopped the guy, and he was letting us take pictures and sit in it and stuff. I was getting out, and it fell out of my pocket. It turned a really good night into a really crappy night.
